The ET 2009 for Medical has been conducted smoothly. It started late on August 16, 2009, at 11:00 AM due to wind storm at Peshawar where check-in could not start till 9:00 AM due to tents falling down. In Abbottabad, there was light rain in the morning and check-in started at 6:45 AM. There was some traffic jam in the College and on KKH due to no show from Traffic Police and initially it was controlled by the security staff of Ayub Medical College. The test ended at 2:00 PM and the candidates dispersed smoothly.

TEST VENUES

  1. Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad For candidates who register themselves and receive Entrance Test Admit Card from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad.

  2. Sher Khan Shaheed (Army) Stadium, Peshawar Cantt. For candidates who register themselves and receive Entrance Test Admit Card from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar.

Eligibility

  1. The candidates having 60% un-adjusted marks in their F. Sc. (Pre-Medical) or other equivalent qualification from Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan or abroad, are eligible to appear in the Entrance Test. Qualification for admission will be 40% (320/800) marks obtained in the Entrance Test.

  2. The candidates having domicile of NWFP/FATA/Northern Areas/AJK.

Note

  1. The domicile certificate once submitted with Entrance Test form will be final and cannot be changed/replaced at a later stage of admission process.

  2. A student admitted in any public sector Medical/Dental College of NWFP in previous year(s) in MBBS or BDS if wishes from MBBS to BDS or vice versa will have to appear in the Entrance Test afresh in the current year. (Re-admission in MBBS or BDS is not allowed.) If selected, the candidate will have to forgo his/her previous admission and all his/her previously paid dues, provided:

He/she has not been expelled/debarred from admission under any provision of the Prospectus and has paid the full Self-financing fee for an additional year if his/her early admission was on Self-financing seat,

OR

Rs. 50,000 in case his/her earlier admission was on Normal Fee seats.
