He joined this great institution as a student in 1954, graduated in 1959, and served in capacities of house officer to professor in Nishtar Medical College, Multan. After doing his post-graduation in 1969 in pharmacology and therapeutics, he became professor in early 70's until his retirement from government service in 1993. He was not only a conscientious and erudite teacher of pharmacology but also a very generous, thoughtful  and cheerful  person. In his all life and career he followed legends like Prof Abdur Rauf Khan, Prof Gulzar Ahmed, Prof Syed Zafar Haider, Prof Ibraheem, Prof Hameed Khan, etc. He died suddenly on 25th May 2002, leaving behind his wife, three sons (who are earning great name in medical profession) and a daughter.
